What We Offer

We offer accredited NVQ qualifications in barbering at Level 2, also offering accredited micro courses in each unit, allowing our learners to tailor their learner journey to suit their individual needs.

Hair Styling

You will be taught a diverse range of contemporary and classic styling, gaining all the required knowledge

Beard Trim

You will be taught how to trim and shape longer and shorter facial hair with various growth patterns and textures

Cuts & Fades

You will cover a wide variety of cutting styles, learning the fading process on all hair types

9.00 am - Meet & greet	Introductions, coffee and refreshments.
9.30 am - Video presentation	We will start things off with a brief visual and audio description of the GB Academy. What we do, our experience and philosophy.
10.00 am - Demonstration cut / look & learn	This will be followed up by a descriptive hair service demonstration, where we will showcase the techniques and tools we use to achieve our desired outcomes.
11.00 am - Practical workshop	After that we will introduce our clients to head blocks and, using visual aids, demonstrate how to section and show the importance of maintaining balance and shape.
11.30 am - Break for refreshments	At this point we will offer our clients sandwich and fruit platters, and soft drinks.
11.45 pm - 12.00 pm Workbook Q&A	Finally we will hand out workbooks and hold a Q&A session, providing a brief description of what is expected from our clients in terms of theory work.
